iFi Audio Introduces “GO Bar Juggernaut” Portable DAC Amp with JVC K2HD Technology
UK-based audio brand iFi Audio has announced the launch of a new portable DAC Amp called “GO Bar Juggernaut”, which features the rare JVC K2HD technology. The device is set to be released in Japan at the end of March, with a price tag of 85,800 yen.
The decision to incorporate JVC K2HD technology into the device stems from iFi’s belief that it enhances the audio quality by restoring lost data during the digitization process, resulting in a sound closer to the original recording.
The “GO Bar Juggernaut” portable DAC Amp boasts a Cirrus Logic 32bit/384kHz DAC decoding chip, support for MQA and DSD decoding, and iFi’s GMT high-precision clock system to minimize distortion. It features a balanced circuit design with both 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced outputs, delivering an impressive output power of 477mW (32Ω).
The device is constructed with high-quality materials, including DK C0G capacitors, Panasonic OS-CON aluminum polymer capacitors, Taiyo Yuden, and Murata-made inductors. The USB-C input section is equipped with a filter to eliminate noise from the power source.
