Vivo Set to Launch New X100 Ultra and X Fold Series Phones
In the world of mobile technology, vivo has been making waves with its innovative and high-quality smartphones. At the end of last year, the company rushed to launch the Dimensity 9300 photography flagship vivo X100 series in Hong Kong, showcasing its commitment to providing excellent photography capabilities. Now, there’s news on the internet about a series of top-of-the-line models – the vivo X100 Ultra (or X100 Pro+) and the X Fold series of foldable screen phones.
According to a recent post on the popular social media platform Weibo, vivo’s Vice President Jia Jingdong has confirmed that the company will be launching two key mobile phones in the first half of this year. The first is the new X Fold series of foldable screen devices, and the second is the Vivo X100 Ultra, which is touted as the top-of-the-line photography phone.
The X Fold series is expected to come in two models, with one focusing on a thin and light body design, and the other focusing on flagship hardware configuration. On the other hand, the X100 Ultra is set to be the latest addition to the X100 series of photography phones, and it is rumored to be launched after the Lunar New Year.
While the specific details about the X100 Ultra are still under wraps, various leaks and rumors have provided some insight into what we can expect. It is speculated that the X100 Ultra will not be using the MediaTek Dimensity 9300, but instead will be equipped with a Qualcomm 8G3 chipset. Additionally, it may also feature the popular two-way satellite communication function, setting it apart from its predecessors.
In terms of photography configuration, the X100 Ultra is rumored to feature a 50-megapixel primary lens, a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a groundbreaking 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, which will support up to 200x digital zoom.
It’s clear that vivo is making a bold statement with its upcoming releases, and it will be interesting to see how the X100 Ultra and the X Fold series will shake up the smartphone industry. As we eagerly await the official launch of these new devices, one thing is for sure – vivo is set to raise the bar when it comes to mobile photography and innovation.
