Lancia Reborn with Launch of Ypsilon Hybrid Model
Lancia, the Italian automotive brand, has made a comeback with the launch of the Ypsilon Hybrid model. The Ypsilon Hybrid follows the release of the high-end electric version, with a starting price of 28,000 euros (approximately NT$970,000). This new model features a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed e-DCT gearbox and a 48V light oil-electric system, boasting a power output of 100ps.
The Ypsilon Hybrid model maintains the stylish design elements of its electric counterpart, with aqua blue paint, LED head and tail lights, and 17-inch diamond-cut aluminum wheels. The interior is also luxurious, featuring heated front seats with blue velvet upholstery, dual 10.25-inch screens for the instrument panel and central control unit, and a Level 2 driver assistance system.
Despite the hybrid powertrain, the Ypsilon Hybrid is still capable of short distances on pure electric drive, with a fuel consumption rate of 21.7km/L. Lancia has announced that the Ypsilon Hybrid is now available for order in Italy, with plans to transition to a fully electric brand by 2028. With a price point lower than the electric version, the Ypsilon Hybrid may not be available for sale for long.
