OpenAI aims to take away Google’s monopoly. According to rumors circulating on social media, the company led by Sam Altman is ready to launch a search engine based on ChatGpt. The domain, as it would be called, was spotted by a user of the Reddit platform. At the moment when visiting the site the word “not found” appears. Unofficial rumors indicate May 9th as the launch date.

Google has dominated the market for almost 30 years, has a 90% market share and shells out billions of dollars to Apple every year to remain the default search choice even on iPhones.
