Game Source Entertainment (GSE) has just announced the introduction of the main characters for their upcoming otome game “EpiC:lycoris-“, developed by Idea Factory. The game, which serves as a fan disc for the popular romance adventure game “ErroR:salvation-“, will feature a total of 7 characters that players can conquer.
The storyline of “EpiC:lycoris-” is set in the country of “Arpesher”, a land surrounded by the sea and plagued by the cursed flower “Novaji Hibiscus”. Citizens of Arpesher can only live until the age of twenty-three due to a death curse, leading the country to be known as haunted by death. To combat this fate, the people of Arpesher have created a “download memory” system that allows individuals to achieve a form of immortality by preserving their memories even after death.
The game follows the story of the protagonist, Ceres, who is labeled as the “God of Death” due to the misfortune that seems to follow her. As she navigates through various death mysteries with the help of the enigmatic “Death Watcher”, players will uncover the secrets of Arpesher and its dark past.
Among the main characters introduced are Ceres, the heroine who brings misfortune to those around her; Yves, a member of the vigilante team and owner of the universal studio “Kulu”; Lucas Proust, a teacher who travels between churches and orphanages; Mathis Claude, a book-loving young man seeking revenge for his brother’s death; Scien Brofiise, a genius scientist behind the “memory download” system; Adolphe, the captain of the vigilante team; and Ankou, the mysterious Death Watcher.
The Switch Traditional Chinese version of “EpiC:lycoris-” is set to be released on July 25, with more information available on the GSE official website.
