Alessandra Poggiani, general director of CINECA, explained during the 17th edition of the RomeCup the importance of a supercomputer like Leonardo, hosted and managed by CINECA, for the training of the artificial intelligence of future Italian AI models. “And it’s not just Leonardo – says Poggiani – this supercomputer is just one node of the country’s very rich IT infrastructure”. Together with her Riccardo Luna, host of the event and director of Italian Tech.
