Insurgency: Sandstorm Gets PS5 and Xbox Series X/S Support
After a series of delays, the popular shooter Insurgency: Sandstorm has finally received support for the latest generation of consoles. The game, which made its console debut on the PS4 and Xbox One in late 2021, has now been enhanced for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
With the upgrade, players can expect 4K graphics and 60FPS gameplay on the PS5 and Xbox Series X, while the Xbox Series S will be limited to 1080p. The game’s HD texture pack will be automatically enabled on modern systems to deliver these visual improvements.
In addition to visual enhancements, the game will also take advantage of the solid-state drives in the latest console systems to improve performance. PS5 players will also have access to haptic and adaptive features via the DualSense controller.
