New Snap Layout Feature in Windows 11 Makes Managing Windows Easier

Microsoft has launched a new feature in the latest Windows 11 build 22635.3130 for the Insider Beta channel that enhances the Snap Layout feature, making it even easier for users to manage their windows.

The new feature, which is gradually rolling out to users in the Insider Beta channel, provides suggestions for which applications users may want to pin together when they rest the mouse cursor on the application window maximize/restore button or press Win + Z. When users click on one of the suggestions, the current app will snap to it, and the suggested app will also appear next to it, eliminating the need to manually select apps for each block.

This new feature addresses the tediousness of selecting apps for each space according to the layout of the Snap Layout feature, making it much more convenient for users to arrange their applications on the screen.

In addition to the Snap Layout feature enhancement, Microsoft has also made it easier for users to leave the Insider Beta channel. Previously, users had to reset their Windows 11 when they wanted to exit the beta channel. Now, users can simply cancel the registration to get the preview component, and they will be upgraded to the latest official version of Windows 11 in place without worrying about losing any data.

The Beta version also includes the relaunch of a new device experience for gadgets, which was originally launched in December but was withdrawn due to a series of issues. While the Beta version fixes some of the known issues, there is still a long list of issues to be addressed.

Overall, the latest Windows 11 build 22635.3130 in the Insider Beta channel brings significant improvements to the user experience, making it easier for users to manage their windows and providing a smoother transition for those leaving the beta channel.
