Apple to Launch āApple Music Classical Musicā App for iOS Devices
Apple has announced that it will be launching the āApple Music Classical Musicā app to provide Apple Music subscribers with a more comprehensive classical music playback channel service. The app is now available for pre-order in the Hong Kong version of iOS and is set to be officially launched on January 23.
According to information released by Apple Hong Kong App Store, the āApple Music Classical Musicā app has a file size of 18.3MB and is compatible with iOS 15.4, ipadOS 15.4 and above. However, the first compatible language does not support the Chinese language family. Users will also need to subscribe to the Apple Music service in order to access the music playback function in streaming mode.
The app will provide users with access to more than 5 million classical music tracks, including new releases, classic masterpieces, and thousands of exclusive albums. It will also support streaming audio sources of up to 192kHz/24bit high-resolution fidelity compression for the best sound quality, as well as Dolby Atmos spatial audio and AirPlay for wireless device playback.
