Taylor Swift victim of AI: fake hardcore photos outrage fans

Several obscene and offensive photos of Taylor Swiftgenerated through photo editing and partly thanks to artificial intelligence, began to circulate on indignant reactions from users and in particular of the fans of the singer, who was nominated last December “Person of the Year” from the prestigious magazine Time.

In the images in question, totally false, the singer’s face appears identical to the real one. It is the element that pcould mislead an inattentive observerleading him to think that the immortalized scenes correspond to reality.

In some cases Taylor Swift is portrayed naked and harassed by numerous men inside a stadium. The singer wears the red jersey of an American football team. It’s a reference to her current boyfriend, Travis Kelcewho wears a similarly colored uniform for the Kansas City Chiefs, one of the American football teams that plays in the NFL.

The artist’s fake photos are an example of how thegenerative artificial intelligence – capable of creating realistic shots from text – can produce extremely inappropriate content if used in the wrong way. And, above all, if the tool equipped with AI that processed the images it is not equipped with adequate filters.

Celebrity shots have been manipulated for a long time to obtain nude images. But in the past this operation – which did not always appear credible – required a certain experience in the use of professional photo editing programs.

With the advent of generative artificial intelligence, however, anyone can produce an extremely realistic shot starting from a textual description. Fake images such as those featuring Taylor Swift have therefore multiplied considerably.

The danger, however, does not only concern public figures. Last November, some students at a New Jersey public school – Westfield High School – were accused of generating with AI fake nude photos of their classmates.

On the social network fake hard shots. There are those who illustrate how to report inappropriate images to social media. And those who, to limit the visibility of obscene photos in the internal search engine, have started posting “safe” contents of the singer to push the inappropriate ones further and further down.

Meanwhile, many accounts that posted AI-generated photos of Taylor Swift they were suspended.
