The launch event of ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra is now around the corner: the smartphone, in fact, will be officially presented on March 14th. With the announcement of the device fast approaching, leakers have now revealed everything you need to know about ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra: here are the specifications of the next Taiwanese flagship!
As GizmoChina explains, ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra will have a design very similar to ASUS ROG Phone 8with a large 6.78″ screen: goodbye therefore to the compact form factor of ASUS Zenfone 10, which in all likelihood will only be taken up by the basic model of the Zenfone 11 line – due out, according to industry experts, towards the end of spring or early summer.
In truth, the only one design difference between Zenfone 11 Ultra and ROG Phone 8 it will be in the shape of the camera module, which in the smartphone arriving on March 14th will be squared and will say goodbye to the more complicated design that characterized the gaming smartphone from the Taiwanese giant. No LEDs and screens on the rear panel, then: Zenfone 11 Ultra will be a more elegant phone and, above all, more sober than its gaming counterpart from the same manufacturer.
In technical terms, it ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra screen it will be a 6.78″ AMOLED FHD+ display with LTPO technology and refresh rate up to 144 Hz. In this case, therefore, there will be a small difference compared to the ROG Phone 8, which instead reached 165 Hz. The smartphone will also be launched in five colors, namely Eternal Black (matte black), Skyline Blue (petrol blue), Misty Gray (light grey), Verdure Green (lime green) and Desert Sienna (ochre).
Going below the body, the smartphone it will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 as its own SoC: the maximum frequency of the chip should be 3.30 GHz, therefore without any factory overclock. In preliminary tests performed on GeekBench, the smartphone reaches 2,226 points in Single-Core and 6,949 points in Multi-Core. The device will then have up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Finally, the battery will be 5,500 mAh, with support for 65W wired fast charging and 15W fast charging.
On the camera side, the Zenfone 11 Ultra will be equipped with one 50MP Sony IMX890 main lens with OIS, a 13 MP ultra-wide angle and a 32 MP telephoto with OIS and 3x optical zoom. Finally, the selfie camera will also be 32 MP.
