“Diablo Immortal” Unveils 2024 Update Plan: Prepare for the “Age of Destruction”
Exciting news for fans of the popular mobile game “Diablo Immortal” as the developers have announced their update plan for 2024. The focus of this year’s updates will be on the “Age of Destruction” and a new demonic threat that is set to invade Sanctuary.
Adventurers can look forward to playing as a new class that will be stepping into the world of Diablo for the first time. Additionally, there will be opportunities to harvest rewards during the second anniversary celebration and face off against the Lord of Fear himself, Diablo, in two main missions.
The era of destruction is set to kick off with the next major update titled “Fear of Desperation,” and players can expect to encounter hellish challenges as they progress through the game.
One of the new features introduced in this update is the Dread Rift, a portal that has suddenly appeared in Sanctuary. The portal will be open at specific times throughout the day in three different areas, allowing players to face brutal monsters and collect Styx Shards. By sacrificing these fragments to the Styx Spire, players can summon a powerful leader and earn rich rewards, including the coveted fear essence.
Players can also use the Essence of Dread to tackle the ultimate test of valor known as the Pillars of Annihilation. These pillars will only appear on higher difficulty levels, and players who survive the onslaught of enhanced monsters will have a chance to obtain eternal equipment and other valuable rewards.
Furthermore, players can take on the Hellslayer bounty mission either solo or with a team on higher difficulty levels. By combining normal bounties into a Hellslayer Bounty, players can earn adventure guide progress and a reward chest with a chance to receive eternal gear.
Eternal equipment, a new and powerful type of gear, will only be available from the Dread Rift, Pillars of Annihilation, and Hellslayer bounties. This equipment comes with three attributes and four magic affixes, making it the rarest and most powerful gear in Sanctuary.
In addition to these updates, players can expect to see 56 new affixes introduced soon. These affixes will appear on items dropped from the Dread Rift, Pillars of Annihilation, and Hellslayer bounties, providing new and exciting opportunities for customization.
