Publisher Game Source Entertainment (GSE) has partnered with Otomate, a popular otome game brand under Japan’s Idea Factory, to announce the upcoming release of “EpiC:lycoris-” on July 25. This new game is a fan disc for the female-oriented romance adventure game “ErroR:salvation-” and will include a sequel to the original story as well as various short story collections.

The storyline of “EpiC:lycoris-” is set in the country of “Arpesher,” where citizens are cursed to live only until the age of twenty-three due to the influence of the death curse. To combat this fate, people have created the “download memory” system, allowing them to achieve immortality by preserving their memories even after death. The game follows a young girl labeled the “God of Death” and her exploration of the mysteries surrounding death in the country, guided by a mysterious man known as the “Death Watcher.”

In addition to the main story, five new story contents are set to be released alongside “EpiC:lycoris-,” including “Side Story -Interlude-,” “Side End -Encore-,” “Virche of La coda -Emotion-,” “Tradition -Drifter-,” and “Virche de la salut -Again-.” The Traditional Chinese version of the game is expected to launch on July 25, with more updates available on the GSE official website.

Fans of otome games and romantic adventures can look forward to diving into the intriguing world of “EpiC:lycoris-” and uncovering the secrets of “Arpesher” when the game hits the shelves this summer.
