Ubisoft Unveils End-Game and Post-Launch Plans for Sea of Rage
Ubisoft has announced the highly-anticipated end-game content and post-launch plans for Sea of Rage, a cooperative open-world pirate action role-playing game developed by Ubisoft Singapore Studio and other Ubisoft studios. Set to be officially launched on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, the game offers players the opportunity to forge their own path in a dangerous world as they strive to become the most notorious pirate overlord and build their own smuggling empire.
Players will face legendary pirate kings such as Philip the Plague and the Hubbach twins, and will need to devise strategies to defeat increasingly difficult threats. Each season culminates in a final battle, where strategic ship configuration and the ability to adapt ships and equipment to the specific challenges of that season will be crucial to emerging victorious.
In addition to facing off against formidable foes, players can participate in PvE and PvP activities, including “Helmsman’s Bet” and “Vicious Competition for Goods,” as well as legendary treasure hunts and high-stakes heists. Through these activities, players can solidify their reputation among the pirate elite and earn rewards based on their ranking on the leaderboard.
The game’s endgame content, known as “Legend of Fury,” promises to bring even more dangerous challenges, higher stakes, and opportunities for alliances that may turn against each other. Players will have the chance to take control of a smuggling ring and oversee the expansion of their empire, including the strategic control of trade routes and investment in upgrades.
A beta public test for “Tales of Fury” is set to take place from February 8th to 11th on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, and Windows PC platforms, giving players the opportunity to try out the game and earn exclusive rewards. The game officially launches on February 16, but players who subscribe to the Ubisoft+ service will have early access starting on February 13.
