131 Mobilizing Teachers in West Jakarta Participate in Educational Seminar

A total of 131 Activator Teachers (GP) from West Jakarta Regional I and II Education Sub-districts took part in a seminar and halal bi halal with the theme “Restoring the Dignity of GPs as Educational Transformation Agents”, in the Ali Sadikin room, West Jakarta Mayor’s Office, Tuesday (7/5) .
Head of Education for Region I West Jakarta, Diding Wahyudin welcomed this activity. “The aim of the seminar is to improve the quality of teachers,” he said.
Diding explained that the seminar participants were from elementary, middle and high school levels.
“Competency must continue to increase, it is hoped that the presence of GPs will not only be their own but can produce new driving teachers,” he said.
“Through seminar museums like this, it is hoped that the presence of GP in West Jakarta will continue to increase so that the quality and quality of education in West Jakarta continues to increase,” he continued.
Meanwhile, the Head of the West Jakarta Community of Teachers, Rumiyatun, said that currently the number of GPs in West Jakarta combined from West Jakarta Education Sub-districts I and II from classes V, VII, VIII and IX is more than 400 people. The resource person is Erika Ambarwati, GP from SMAN 56, Menceng, West Jakarta.
“Through this activity, it is hoped that the quality of GPs will increase so that in their duties they can transmit improvements in the quality of children’s education in their respective schools,” he concluded. (Aji)
