Celebrities are increasingly agreeing to popular reality shows without knowing either what they are getting into, or which other celebrities will also be taking part.
Last in line is journalist and presenter Emil Gukild (32), who these days can be seen on TVNorge in “71 degrees north – teams”, together with his wife Linnéa Myhre (33).

When the married couple were asked to be part of the “71 degrees north – team”, the former could tell that it took a few more rounds to persuade his wife.
In addition, Gukild reveals to Nettavisen that he made a huge mistake before the recording, which resulted in him going straight into the basement.
Thoroughly mistaken
As mentioned, the married couple had agreed to take part in “71 degrees north – team”, without knowing who the other participants were.
They were therefore very excited about which other celebrities they were going to compete against, and eventually they heard rumors that Martin Johnsrud Sundby (39) and his brother, Sondre Sundby (32) were going to be there.
– Then we went straight to the basement, but we still thought that even though they are clear favourites, we can put up with this, says Gukild to Nettavisen and adds that it didn’t necessarily stop there.
After gathering both motivation and willpower, they decided that they would be able to surpass the other teams.
And while Gukild was at the dress rehearsal for the reality show, he sneaked a look at an Excel sheet where the sizes of all the participants were recorded.
– Among other things, it said Lise and Heidi. And just at that moment Linnéa and I were watching an old season of “71 degrees north”, where chef Lise Finckenhagen was on, he says.

Gukild immediately thought that the well-known TV chef would make a comeback in the programme. Nevertheless, he was unsure who “Heidi” could be.
– I also had to google: “Heidi chef”, and then I found out that she is the head chef at the Michelin restaurant, Credo, in Trondheim, her name is Heidi, he says.
Went straight to the basement
Gukild and Myhre then came to the conclusion that it was with these two super chefs that they should go on tour with them, and concluded that it was a team they should be able to beat.
But then suddenly everything turned around.

Just before the start of the recording, Gukild received a text message from Sondre Sundby who warned that they should watch out for one of the other teams.
– Sondre suddenly writes that he thinks “the Løke sisters are becoming dangerous”. And then I realized that it was the handball players Heidi and Lise Løke that we were going to compete against. So I went into the basement, he says to Nettavisen and continues:
– As if the Sundby brothers weren’t enough, the two of them are also coming. Martin has at least given up, but these are active top athletes, so no, I went all the way to the basement, he continued.
