1. Ratu Boko Temple

Ratu Boko Temple is a Hindu temple located not far from Prambanan Temple. This temple is located on a hilltop. Quoting from prambanan.slemankab.go.id, the name of this temple comes from one of the Mataram leaders named Ratu Boko. Ratu Boko is believed to be the parent of Roro Jonggrang.

The attraction of Ratu Boko Temple is the view offered by this temple, namely the view of Yogyakarta City. Because the location of the temple is on a hill and faces west. So it is recommended to visit Boko Temple in the afternoon to get a view of the warm afternoon light.

2. Ijo Temple

5. Sewu Temple

Sewu Temple is still in the Prambanan Temple Complex, precisely in Kalasan, Sleman. Sewu Temple is located about 800 meters north of Prambanan Temple. Sewu Temple is used as a center of worship for Buddhists.

It has the name Sewu Temple because it corresponds to the word ‘Sewu’ which in Javanese means a thousand. This temple has a connection with the legend of Roro Jonggrang where he asked Bandung Bondowoso to build a thousand temples for him.

6. Sambisari Temple

9. Sari Temple

Sari Temple is located in Bendan Hamlet, Tirtomartani, Kalasan, Sleman. This temple is thought to have been founded in the 8th century AD, at the same time as Kalasan Temple, which is also located not too far away.

In this temple there is a statue carved carrying a red and blue lotus flower in the Tribangga or graceful attitude. Apart from that, there are other sculptures such as bird-man patterns or also known as Kinara Kinari, Kumuda or flowers and leaves sticking out, and Kalamakara temple.
