A large portion of this publication, such as anticipated by the authoris dedicated to the turbulent relationship between Trump and the Atlantic alliance which, a few days after the statements in which the former president himself defined as “criminals” those members who do not allocate at least 2% of its GDP to defense spending and threatened to encourage a Russian invasion against them, has once again caused discussion, greatly alarming European chancelleries in fear of a US retreat from the continent.
In the book, both the former National Security Advisor John Bolton that the retired general John Kelly they tell the author in no uncertain terms that with Trump back in the role of US president the future of NATO “he would be in serious danger”.
