Theater, television and film actress Neuza Teixeira died at the age of 44, the Portuguese Cinema Academy announced this Wednesday. “It is with great sadness that we received the news of the death of the theater, television and cinema actress, Neuza Teixeira”, reads the official page of the Portuguese Cinema Academy on Facebook, without further information.
The Lusa agency confirmed the death of Neuza Teixeira with friends of the actress, without however obtaining verified information about the date and place of death.
Neuza Teixeira, often credited only with her first name, was born on December 6, 1979, in Lisbon, and made her debut as an actress in cinema, in 1998, in the film Trafficby João Botelho.
