“Advertising chief” injured with a punch during a visit to Bautzen
Niclas Matthei, known nationwide as “Advertiser Master”, visited Bautzen on Saturday. Around 200 onlookers gathered at the train station – an unknown man hit the internet star in the face with his fist.

Bautzen. Niclas Matthei, who has become known through various Internet articles and several TV reports and calls himself the “advertising master”, was injured on Saturday evening during a visit to Bautzen.
As a spokesman for the Görlitz Police Department confirmed upon request, an unknown person is said to have hit the 18-year-old while he was sitting in a car parked in front of the Bautzen train station. Viewers were able to watch the punch directly to Matthei’s nose in the live stream. In the video, a suspected fan can be heard asking: “How are you? It was a good ride, wasn’t it?” Just seconds later, an arm with a clenched fist suddenly shoots through the window and hits Matthei square in the nose.

Together with Oliver W., who calls himself “Ollizei”, Niclas drove through Brandenburg and Saxony at the weekend in a car that strikingly resembled a police vehicle, but was probably legal. On Saturday evening they both visited the city in Upper Lusatia and had announced this on social media the evening before.

Both Oliver W. and the “advertising master” are known for using an app to report traffic violators who, for example, park incorrectly, as private individuals. Matthei, who comes from Gräfenhainichen in Saxony-Anhalt, is said to have reported more than 4,000 cases in 2023, among other things.
This means that both of them heat up the minds of many people on the Internet, but they also have many fans. According to the police, around 100 onlookers gathered around the two influencers’ car at the Bautzen train station alone on Saturday around 10:45 p.m., including the attacker, who remained unknown.

After the punch, blood ran from Niclas Matthei’s nose and he had to receive medical treatment. As a reporter reports, this took place at the nearby police station, where the “complaint master” then filed a report with his real police colleagues. The police opened an investigation into bodily harm and accompanied him on part of his way back.
It is not the first physical attack on the “advertising master”. On March 2nd, after a Dynamo Dresden soccer game at Halleschen FC, Niclas Matthei was attacked on an S-Bahn. A previously unknown perpetrator used force to snatch the 18-year-old’s cell phone, the federal police said at the time. The teenager was injured and taken to hospital; his cell phone was later found on a train platform.
