Afghanist, who landed in Fiumicino during the night, military flight with 194 evacuated refugees

The Air Force aircraft with 194 Afghans on board, evacuated from Kabul last night, landed as planned at Fiumicino airport. The plane is reported to have landed around 00.50. This is the fourth flight to arrive in our country as part of the airlift set up by the Defense.

Yesterday, the Minister of Defense, Lorenzo Guerini, thanked for the “extraordinary work of the Italian armed forces that are conducting the complex and delicate ‘Aquila Omnia’ operation through the construction of a humanitarian airlift”.
