Afghanistan, the Taliban suppress the women’s demonstration using pepper spray

ACCEPTANCE – Around twenty activists, teachers and students met yesterday in front of the University of Kabul to demand that women’s rights not be trampled on by the new regime. They protested peacefully against the increasingly restrictive laws of their freedoms, brandishing signs that read “Equality and Justice” and “Our rights are human rights” when the Taliban attacked them with pepper spray.
