Afghanistan, the US accelerates the withdrawal

The withdrawal from Afghanistan will be even faster than expected: the US administration has reached an agreement with the Taliban. The US will try to get the military to leave by 4 July, or in any case within the month, and the “Koranic students” will consider the Doha agreements, which established a withdrawal by the end of April, to be respected. The deadline of 11 September, indicated by the president Joe Biden, therefore gives way to an equally symbolic date, in which the United States celebrates the declaration of independence.
