The president of the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF), Agustín Lozano, spoke about the hiring of Ricardo Gareca as coach of the Chilean national team, and highlighted the passage of the ‘Tigre’ in command of the red and white team.

“We will always be grateful for everything he did for the country, for everything he left in Peruvian football, but today we are in a different scenario,” he noted.

Likewise, he was emphatic in marking distance and giving the new coach of the Peruvian team Jorge Fossati the place he deserves.
