SKOR.id – The King’s Cup tournament has entered the semifinal round, one of the matches brings together two giants of the Saudi Arabian League, Al Ittihad vs Al Hilal.

The match between Al Ittihad vs Al Hilal in the semifinals of the King’s Cup, took place at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, Jeddah, Wednesday (1/5/2024) early morning WIB.

In this King’s Cup semifinal match, Al Hilal managed to beat Al Ittihad with a narrow score of 2-1, after a fierce match.

Al Hilal’s goals in this match were scored by Michael (25′) and Saud Abdulhamid (81′), while Al Ittihad scored through Abderrazak Hamdallah (67′).

Al Ittihad only has two wins in the last five matches before the match against Al Hilal in the King’s Cup semifinal match.

Even in their previous match, they lost 1-3 at home when they were beaten by Al Shabab 1-3 in the Saudi Arabian League.

Meanwhile, Al Hilal throughout this season has only been touched by one defeat in various competitions, when they lost 2-4 to Al Ain in the semifinals of the Asian Champions League.

In the second half, precisely in the 67th minute, Ahmed Al Ghamdi’s pass was met by Anderrazak Hamdallah which made his team equalize at 1-1.

However, in the 81st minute, Saud Abdulhamid put Al Hilal back in the lead, again Malcom’s pass was the key to creating a goal for The Blue Waves squad.

This result was enough for Al Hilal to ensure victory over Al Ittihad in the King’s Cup semifinal match with a score of 2-1.

Al Ittihad was without Karim Benzema in this match, as was Neymar who was absent from defending Al Hilal after reportedly suffering an injury.

Another match in the semifinals of the King’s Cup will be between Al Nassr vs Al Khaleej.

Al Nassr, which has been strengthened by Cristiano Ronaldo this season, has met Al Khaleej twice in the Saudi Arabian League and managed to beat them (2-0 and 1-0).

The Al Nassr vs Al Khaleej match will take place at the Al Awal Park Stadium, King Saud University, Thursday (2/5/2024) early morning WIB.
