Nobody can stop Al-Hilal. This Tuesday (2/4), in Sauditão, the team coached by Jorge Jesus won yet another. This time the victim was Al-Okhdood. At home, they scored 3-0. The goals came from Saleh, the Brazilian Malcom and Al Dawsari.
This was the 31st consecutive victory for Neymar’s team (who is injured and hasn’t played since October). Thus, he extends his world record for consecutive triumphs. And they remain ahead, with 74 points, against 62 for Al Nassr – who in this round scored 8-0 over Abha, with three goals from CR7.
Hilal scored the first goal in a great collective effort on the left. The ball reached Rúben Neves at the edge of the area and he sent the bomb. Halfway through, Saleh deflected the ball and put the score 1-0. This was the result of the first half. Although, despite the meager score, the team had plenty. Still, he almost got a draw. But Jahif kicked and Bono saved with his foot.
The second goal came in the 21st minute, in a counterattack, Malcom advanced from the left, entered the area and hit the goalkeeper. Shortly after, at 28, Rúben Neves stole the ball in midfield, advanced to the right and crossed for Al Dawsari to finish.
