Two lifeless bodies were discovered today in the landing gear of an Algerian national airline, Air Algérie, at the capital’s airport. A union source from the national airline reported this to Ansa. The source explained that the company’s technical teams discovered the two bodies this morning on board an Airbus A330 plane, which was about to take off for Orly airport in Paris.
According to the first rumors, these are two young irregular immigrants (whose age has not yet been determined), and it is likely that they boarded the plane last June 1st. So far, neither the Algerian authorities nor the national airline have commented. The same source also indicated that authorities have launched an immediate investigation to find out the circumstances of the case, and an autopsy will be performed on the bodies of the two victims to determine the exact causes of death.
A few months ago, social media in Algeria reported a teenager from the province of Constantine (east), who managed to reach Charles de Gaulle airport in the French capital, hiding in the landing gear of a plane of the same company
