The fan boom in the win2day ICE Hockey League continues: Last weekend, the 100,000 spectator mark was exceeded in the 2024 playoffs. For the first time this season, an EC Red Bull Salzburg home game was sold out. The defending champions are the eleventh club to reach the maximum capacity limit at least once this season.

115,426 spectators have watched the 34 playoff games of the win2day ICE Hockey League in the arenas so far. An average of 3,394 fans came – in the six semi-final games so far, 3,915 fans were counted per encounter.

Salzburg sold out for the first time on Sunday
With 3,400 fans, an EC Red Bull Salzburg home game was sold out for the first time this season on Sunday. The reigning champion of the win2day ICE Hockey League is the eleventh club to have reached the maximum capacity limit this season.

Klagenfurt “sold out” nine times in a row
The EC-KAC has always filled the Heidi Horten Arena to capacity in its last nine games. A total of 18 Red Jackets home games were sold out this season. Klagenfurt’s semi-final opponent HC Pustertal Wölfe is heading for its fourth sold-out home game in a row in semi-final four (Tuesday, 7.30 p.m. live on PULS24). The Intercable Arena would be filled to capacity for the eighth time this year. By Sunday lunchtime only 36 tickets were available.
