NEW YORK, Five women sue Amazon for harassment, discrimination and retaliation. The Bloomberg agency reports, noting that women held positions at Amazon headquarters and local offices.
The online sales giant specifies that it has conducted investigations into the individual episodes reported in the lawsuit and has not found evidence to support the allegations.
Emily Sousa, one of the women in the lawsuit, complained that she was targeted by her boss who was trying to have a sexual relationship with her. Diana Cuervo instead accused Amazon of being fired after complaining to one of her superiors for her racist comments.
