Amazonas FC has existed for less than 5 years and has already received more than R$7 million in public money

Amazonas FC has existed for less than five years and, between 2021 and 2023, received R$7.229 million in public money. Furthermore, the club is already qualified to receive an additional R$1.5 million from the city of Manaus, in 2024. The ‘Onça Pintada’ completes half a decade on May 23rd.

State deputy Joana Darc allocated R$3.559 million to Amazonas FC, in a parliamentary amendment, in 2023.

The money arrived at Amazonas FC through direct deposit into an account and through exemptions from public fees. Part of the information was released by the government of the State, on April 18th. The other part appears on the Transparency Portals municipal e state.

According to the State government, in 2021 Amazonas FC received R$100,000 for competing in the Amazonense Championship. In 2022 the value was R$340 thousand, also for participation in the State. In 2023, with Barezão’s first title, ‘Onça Pintada’ won R$671,250 thousand.

Also in 2023, the club received R$3.559 million from the government of Amazonas, through a parliamentary amendment by state deputy Joana Darc (Union), in addition to R$1 million from the city of Manaus.

Finally, the State government also states that it gave up R$970,000 through exemption from fees relating to the use of public stadiums by Amazonas FC for training and official games, between 2021 and 2023.
