Among the damned of Kuznica, on the border between Belarus and Poland: “Help us”

KUZNICA, (POLAND-BELARUS BORDER) – The youngest children, to protect themselves from the freezing frost, spent the night on the low branches of the black pines: on the ground, the fires lit with the trunks of the birch trees cut down by their fathers’ hatchets, a mockery gift from the Minsk military.
