This was stated by Emanuele Arcese, president of the intermodal transport section of ANITA, during the presentation event of the EasyRailFreight platform, created to promote and develop intermodal logistics services. “After two years of commitment, cooperation and numerous discussions, ANITA welcomes the launch of the EasyRailFreight platform, which responds to the statutory commitments of modal shift, strengthening collaboration between stakeholders in the sector from a green perspective”.
“The platform will also help companies operating in the road transport of goods to approach the world of intermodality – reiterated Emanuele Arcese – allowing them to simultaneously face the challenges posed by the digital and ecological transition. In fact, through the RFI tool, businesses will be able to access a technological infrastructure that is in step with the times, capable of creating convergence between supply and demand”. “ANITA – concluded the president of the intermodal transport section of the association – promotes intermodality and will continue to work together with RFI to feed and update this important tool”.
