National Education Day (National Education Day) will be commemorated on May 2, 2024. In commemoration, a flag ceremony will be held in accordance with guidelines from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Ministry of Education and Culture).

The Ministry of Education and Culture has released guidelines for implementing the 2024 National Education Day flag ceremony. In these guidelines, the schedule for the ceremony is attached.

Implementation of the 2024 National Education Day Ceremony

• Day, date: Thursday, May 2, 2024
• Time: 07.30 local time
• Place: Office yard/field/other place agreed upon by the local committee.
• Clothing: Traditional traditional clothing in accordance with appropriate norms (for officials, invitees, employees, educators, pupils and students), or according to regulations (for ceremony officials).

*) Note: Before reading the prayer, it is hoped that the prayer reading officer will explain that the ceremony prayer is read in the Islamic religion, and invite ceremony participants who are not Muslim to pray according to their respective religions and beliefs.

General Provisions for the 2024 National Education Day Ceremony

Flag ceremonies are held offline/face-to-face at the central Ministry of Education and Culture offices and regional work units, central Ministry of Religion offices and regional work units, provincial/district/city government offices, provincial/district/city education and culture offices, university campuses public/private as well as educational units throughout Indonesia, and Indonesian representative offices abroad and educational units abroad.

For information, the 2024 National Education Day (Hardiknas) commemoration carries the theme “Move Together, Continue the Freedom to Learn”. This information is as stated in the Circular Letter (SE) of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Mendikbudristek).
