Arsenal crushed Newcastle United in the Premier League. The London Cannon won 4-1.

Arsenal vs Newcastle took place at the Emirates Stadium, Sunday (25/2/2024) early morning WIB. The Gunners led 2-0 in the first half through Sven Botman’s own suicide and Kai Havertz’s goal.

Arsenal added two other goals after the break through Bukayo Saka and Jakub Kiwior. Newcastle scored a consolation goal through Joe Willock.

Arsenal is still in third place, but now has 58 points to stay close to Liverpool and Manchester City. Newcastle is in eighth place with 37 points.

The Course of the Match

Mikel Arteta’s troops immediately appeared to attack from the start of the match. On the other hand, Newcastle had difficulty taking possession of the opponent’s ball.

Arsenal got a new goal in the 18th minute to change the score to 1-0. A header from Gabriel Magalhaes created chaos in the Newcastle goalmouth, which resulted in an own goal from Sven Botman.
