Arsenal crushed Newcastle United in the Premier League. The London Cannon won 4-1.
Arsenal vs Newcastle took place at the Emirates Stadium, Sunday (25/2/2024) early morning WIB. The Gunners led 2-0 in the first half through Sven Botman’s own suicide and Kai Havertz’s goal.
Arsenal added two other goals after the break through Bukayo Saka and Jakub Kiwior. Newcastle scored a consolation goal through Joe Willock.

Arsenal is still in third place, but now has 58 points to stay close to Liverpool and Manchester City. Newcastle is in eighth place with 37 points.
The Course of the Match
Mikel Arteta’s troops immediately appeared to attack from the start of the match. On the other hand, Newcastle had difficulty taking possession of the opponent’s ball.
Arsenal got a new goal in the 18th minute to change the score to 1-0. A header from Gabriel Magalhaes created chaos in the Newcastle goalmouth, which resulted in an own goal from Sven Botman.
Arsenal increased their lead to 2-0 in the 24th minute. A pull pass from Gabriel Martinelli was completed by Kai Havertz’s shot.

Arsenal increased their lead to 3-0 in the 65th minute. Saka got his name on the scoreboard with a shot in the side of the penalty box.
The London cannon really exploded in this match. Jakub Kiwior’s header hit the body of one of the Newcastle players, the ball then went into the goal and made it difficult for Karius to catch it. 4-0 Arsenal took the lead in the 70th minute.
