ATLAS Additional 17 million from the EU for the installation of 700 fast charging points in Italy – Companies

Atlante, the NHOA Group company, specialized in the fast charging network for electric vehicles, has obtained selection from the European Union for the third time through the CEF Transport ā€“ Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Facility (ā€œAFIFā€) program. This new contribution, equal to ā‚¬17.2 million, adds to the previous financing, bringing the total financing obtained by Atlante to approximately ā‚¬90 million.

The AtlanteHIT project involves the installation of over 700 electrified parking spaces, distributed in 44 fast charging stations, of which 32 for cars and vans and 12 for heavy vehicles. This financing strengthens Atlanteā€™s position in the electric vehicle charging sector and contributes to its expansion along the trans-European road transport network.

Atlante is also committed to the heavy vehicle segment, introducing fast charging hubs dedicated to e-Trucks, thus advancing the decarbonisation of transport in Southern Europe. The project is supported by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti as an Italian partner.

All Atlante charging stations will use 100% renewable energy and will be designed in a modular way to ensure flexibility and scalability. Once completed, they will fully integrate with national grids, forming one of the largest global Virtual Power Plants.

Atlanteā€™s goal is to promote sustainable mobility by enabling electric vehicle drivers to easily charge their vehicles anywhere, in minutes rather than hours. European Union funding contributes to the realization of Atlasā€™ plan of 22,000 charging points by 2030.
