Australia, assault on the Old Parliament Building: Aboriginal protest grows

LONDON – The old Parliament building was set on fire during a demonstration by aborigines a Canberra, as a gesture of protest during a ten-year campaign to defend the rights of minorities in Australia. The flames briefly enveloped the door of the building, which currently houses the Museum of Australian Democracy and was immediately evacuated, without harm to the people inside.
