Persebaya Surabaya conquer Persik Kediri in the final week of the regular season Liga 1 2023/2024. Bajul Ijo won 2-1 over Tiger Putih in the East Java derby.
Competing at the Gelora Stadium on November 10, Surabaya, Persebaya and Persik played to a 0-0 draw in the first half. Persebaya and Persik both created opportunities in the o half.
One of Persebaya’s opportunities came in the 11th minute. Bruno Moreira’s kick still hasn’t reached the target.

Persik threatened with a long-range shot from Ze Valente, still above the Persebaya goal. The glasses score remained at halftime.
In the 54th minute, Persebaya scored a goal. Wildan Ramadhani took advantage of the thrown ball from Robson Duarte’s kick to break down Persik.
Persik responded quickly to Persebaya’s goal. Fitra Ridwan wrote his name on the scoreboard three minutes later. Utilizing a heel pass from Flavio Silva, Fitra broke into Persebaya’s goal.
Peach threatened Persebaya with Ze Valente’s long-range kick in the 80th minute. His shot still deviated from Persebaya’s goal.
Persebaya was finally able to score an additional goal during injury time in the second half. Paulo Henrique was the winner for the home team with a close-range shot after coming from an offside position. Persebaya won 2-1.
With the addition of these three points, Persebaya finished the season with a collection of 42 points, temporarily occupying 11th position in the League 1 standings. Meanwhile, Persik is in seventh position with 48 points, while in seventh place.
