Bandai Namco announces a Closed Network Test for Tekken 8

Bandai today announced a Closed Network Test (CNT) of Tekken 8which will start on July 28th with a selection of players. Thanks to this test period, the players who will be admitted will finally be able to try the title and the new fighting philosophy that it will introduce, helping to influence the new game mechanics and the features that will be in the title.

The game introduces a new “aggressive” combat system which encourages a style that places emphasis on attack, while rewarding players who aim for offense.

Il Closed Network Test will have online “Ranked Matches” with cross-platform matchmaking. The selected players will be able to choose between 16 characters, including Jin, Kazuya, Paul, Law, King, Lars, Jack 8, Xiaoyu, Nina, Leroy, Lili, Asuka, Hwoarang, Bryan and the recently announced Claudio. There will be 5 internships available: Urban Square, Yakushima, Rebel Hangar, Sanctum and Arena.

To try to participate, you will have to register on this site; the clashes they will start the July 28 from 10:00 until July 31 at 09:00with a maintenance scheduled for July 29 between 10:00 and 13:00.
