Banksy confirms new mural in London

The anonymous street artist Banksy confirms that he is the one who painted a green illustration that appeared overnight at Finsbury Park in North London.

The artist appeared as a performer in a post on Instagram on Monday. By then, the rumors had already been circulating for several hours after the artwork was discovered in the light of day. Large crowds flocked.

The residents of the area are delighted and proud that Banksy chose one of “their” buildings in Hornsey Road.

– The fresh green colors represent our beloved Islington, and of course St. Patrick’s Day, which is a pleasant and enjoyable event, says a lady in the neighbourhood.

The lively use of color fits in with the colors used by Islington City Council on street signs in the area.

A heavily pruned tree stands in the foreground of the mural, and the green color compensates for the green leaves that are gone.
