“Bartender”: slices of life through cocktails

If you are a regular cocktail drinker, these mixes of liqueurs and various essences satisfy you both on a gustatory and visual level, finding the world of fluid dynamics an immersive experience in a glass, then you absolutely must see the anime “Bartender Glass of God” ,

The series is based on the manga drawn by Kenji Nagatomo and texts by Araki Jo, in which the barman Ryu Sasakura who manages the Eden Hall bar, located in the Ginza district, prepares real drinks that are offered to customers, based on the protagonist and to its history behind it.

A very particular series, with poetic and dreamy touches, as the events take place in a place that is not the classic bar as we might understand it but more of a piano bar, with soft lights, refined furnishings with a vast assortment of liqueurs, whose labels allow us to immediately know famous brands such as Cinzano vermouth, Gordon gin, Romanoff vodka… all this attention to detail is due to the supervision of Suntory Spirits Limited, a Japanese multinational in the production of alcohol.

The work, directed by Masaki Watanabe, is made up of 11 episodes, in which the barman Sasakura, through his ability to prepare cocktails, creates a certain empathy with the customer, who, when he sips the preparation, forgets everyone his problems and reaches an inner peace with himself.

A very particular anime whose emotional power comes from the creation of the drink, some of which can be replicated very well at home and you can sip them peacefully on your sofa.
