Bayern Munich and Arsenal clash this Wednesday for one of the tickets to the Champions League semi-finals. On paper, the Germans look like the favorites to win the second leg of the quarterfinals.
In the first match of the series held at the Emirates Stadium in London, the ‘Gunners’ took the lead with a goal from Bukayo Saka, but Serge Gnabry and Harry Kane came back for Munich in the first half. When it seemed that the Bavarians would take the victory, Leandro Trossard got the tie for Arsenal.

“All the preparation we have done is to make it to the semifinals. Everything we have done in the last ten months, the last season. Most of our players have not experienced this. They are super motivated and confident. We can win, but We can also lose. We have had an incredible journey and we will give everything we have to try to win these titles,” Mikel said.
For his part, Thomas Tuchel, Munich helmsman, acknowledged that his squad has more experience than the Arsenal squad and highlighted that the result against the Gunners is key for Bayern’s season.
“We have a slight advantage if we take experience into account. We also have players who have won the competition although the latter does not have to be an advantage. We have this match to take a key step. We are determined to give everything to stay alive in this wonderful competition,” commented Tuchel.
