The BikiniARTmuseum in Bad Rappenau already has Pamela Anderson’s original swimsuit from “Baywatch” – now David Hasselhoff’s swimming trunks from the series are to follow.
Pamela Anderson’s original “Baywatch” swimsuit is already in the drawer waiting for its big appearance. If it works, he’ll have company – in the form of David Hasselhoff’s swimming trunks. Of course also an original from “Baywatch”. At least that’s what Severin Schuler from the BikiniARTmuseum in Bad Rappenau (Heilbronn district) hopes.
$27,000 for Pamela Anderson’s swimsuit
Last year, the museum was able to purchase Pamela Anderson’s swimsuit for around $27,500. Another auction is scheduled for the end of March: over 1,000 Hollywood paraphernalia will be up for sale. From costume sketches to scripts to props from films and series. And even more from “Baywatch” – including David Hasselhoff’s red swimming trunks from the series.
There are already red swimming trunks by David Hasselhoff in the museum – but they come from the series “Australian Idol” and not from “Baywatch”. Both are now coming together for a special exhibition about “Baywatch”. Possibly even more: Schuler is hoping for another swimsuit, for example, from the actress Yasmine Beeth at the auction, which will run online over several days from March 20th to 24th. She appeared in the series from seasons five to seven.
Special exhibition planned from July
It is still difficult to estimate how expensive this good piece will be. Schuler is guessing a low four-digit sum. The auction will also include an original buoy, signed by the actors. The special exhibition is expected to start on July 1st – to coincide with Pamela Anderson’s birthday.
