There were strong reactions on the ball island when Saudi money was injected into what has been a club in chaos under owner Mike Ashley. For the Newcastle supporters, however, it has been a liberation to let go of the Englishman’s management and inability to invest in the club and his own ability to squeeze out the managers. Ashley has previously taken legal action against the club’s co-owner Amanda Stavely, for what he believes is a breach of the terms of a loan and other agreements. Now the Englishman is opening a new case, this time it concerns Newcastle’s supporter kits.
