After the European Film Prize and an Oscar nomination, actress Sandra Hülser receives another honor for her role in “Anatomy of a Case”. In Paris she was awarded the French film prize César.
The German Sandra Hülser has been awarded the French César film award for best actress. Hülser received the award in Paris for her leading role in the film “Anatomy of a Case”. She felt very honored, especially as a German, said Hülser at the award ceremony. In the film she plays a German writer who is suspected of murdering her husband.
The director of “Anatomy of a Case,” Justine Triet, won the award for best director. She is only the second woman to receive this award. In her acceptance speech, Triet dedicated her award to “all women,” including “those who have been hurt.” In total, “Anatomy of a Case” received six awards.
Huller nominated for an Oscar
Huller is also nominated for an Oscar for “Anatomy of a Case.” The Oscars will be awarded in two weeks. According to his own statement, Triet wrote the role in “Anatomy of a Case” specifically for Hülser.
