Boris Johnson, from parties to restrictions for the Omicron variant

LONDON. The most difficult week for Boris Johnson has begun since he became British Prime Minister in July 2019. Not only because the Omicron variant of the Coronavirus is rampant in the UK (yesterday alone almost 1300 new cases in the country) and on Sunday evening Johnson appealed to the British to rush and receive the third dose of the vaccine, in an extraordinary campaign that aims at 1 million doses per day.
