In the district of Itacuruçá, in the Sepetiba bay, south coast of Rio de Janeiro, there is an uninhabited island 5 kilometers wide, which in recent years has become a tourist attraction. Ilha Furtada is inhabited only by cats, hundreds. For this reason it was renamed the Island of Cats.
