Adele Zerilli, mother of Bruce Springsteen and originally from Vico Equense, in the province of Naples, has died at the age of 98. Adele was the wife of Douglas Frederick Springsteen (who died in 1998) and mother of three children, Bruce, Virginia and Pamela. The sad news of her death, which occurred on January 31st, was announced by Springsteen himself on Instagram, with a touching video in which he dances with her to the notes of a Glenn Miller song. The causes of her death are currently unknown; however, the singer-songwriter revealed in 2021 that her mother had been struggling with a serious illness for years.
