Hike from Flegère; departure at the top of the TS de la Floria; Col Crochues, Col de Bérard, descent; Buet; hollow in the Bérard valley cows.

Skis on your back to climb to the Col des Crochues, good steps; going back down to Col de Bérard concrete with a few lumps due to the flows, we come across a dead ibex, it must have been caught on a stone…Going back up to Col de Bérard good track but frozen. Descent on the other side for 200 m from D- then large crossing on the side with the knives in concrete slopes… Join the normal route of Buet, quite a few people including a team for a filming and a group with big ats at 112 -120 on the skate, not glop with the concrete track. It flakes in places but the top remains well frozen.

Arrived at the summit late around 3:00 p.m. well rinsed, it’s long small shape frozen snow practical knives.

Descent / via hollow aux vaches, frost with good grip at the start then more concrete, Bérard valley in concrete snow, quite a few small ascents which are tiring and end in the border cross hard to ski, concrete snow, a few stones, torrent not far away in places it really tires the thighs.

In short, a day that combines beautiful landscapes of 1300 m of D+ for 2200 m of D- and massages of calves and vertebrae with the gentle sound of the snow which screams

Ski quality : 2/5

Lieu : Chamonix Mont-Blanc Valley
