Burma, three years in prison for the Takhon model who protested against the coup

YANGOON – One of Burma’s best-known faces, model and actor Paing Takhon, was sentenced to three years in prison for participating in a mass anti-coup protest. It is reported there Bbc.Takhon, who is followed by millions of young people on social media and is a major critic of the online government, was arrested last April by 50 soldiers who arrived at his home at five in the morning aboard eight trucks.
