The notices for the Caixa 2024 competition have been published. The selection includes 4,050 vacancies, of which 4,000 are for mid-level banking technicians and 50 for higher education. Remuneration varies from R$5.575,54 a R$16.728,80. The hiring regime is CLT.
Caixa Econômica Federal published two notices in the Official Gazette of the Union this Thursday, 22nd. Organized by the Cesgranrio Foundation, the selection highlights the banking technician career, which brings the following offer in the first notice:
- 2 thousand vacancies for new (traditional) banking technicians; It is
- 2 thousand vacancies for banking technicians in the Information Technology (IT) area.
For the banking technician, the state-owned company only requires the complete secondary level of candidates. Monthly earnings are R$5.575,54.
The remaining 50 opportunities, available in the second notice, are aimed at positions of higher level, namely: occupational physician (28 vacancies) and occupational safety engineer (22 vacancies). The remuneration is R$12.999,80 e R$16.728,80respectively.
The competition has reserved places for disabled people (6%) and black people (20%).
The 4,050 vacancies in the Caixa competition are distributed across 26 states in the country, in addition to the Federal District. The competition will be valid for one year and may be extended for an equal period.

Caixa 2024 competition remuneration
Those approved for the role of banking technician will have a salary of R$3,762, which can reach R$5.575,54with food assistance, in the amount of R$1,014.42, and the food basket of R$799.38 (September 2022 – last agreement in force).
In the case of those qualified in higher-level positions, the starting salary will be R$11,186 (doctor) and R$14,915 (engineer), reaching R$12,999.80 and R$16,728.80, respectively, also with allowances.
In addition to the initial salary and food allowance, the approved candidate will also be entitled to transportation vouchers and various benefits, such as health care, supplementary pension and daycare allowance (R$602.81). See them all below:

- daycare/nanny assistance – R$602.81;

The workload will be 30 hours per week, six per day.

Registration will open on the 29th
Caixa will receive registrations for its public competition from 10am the next day February 29th.
Registration must be done on the website of Cesgranrio Foundationorganizer, until 11:59 pm on March 25.
After completing the registration form, the candidate must pay the registration fee R$50for banking technician, and R$60for occupational physician and occupational safety engineer.
The deadline to request exemption from the amount is from February 29th to March 7th, also on the organizer’s website.
When registering, the candidate must choose the position, hub/macropole/UF of choice.
In the case of a traditional banking technician position, the city in which the tests are held will automatically be linked to the chosen hub/marcopolo/UF.
For the position of banking technology technician, the candidate, in addition to choosing the optional hub/marcopolo/UF, must also choose the city in which the tests will take place.
The fee will be waived for candidates who prove their registration in the Federal Government’s Single Registry for Social Programs or who are bone marrow donors.
Exemption from the fee may be requested between the days February 29th and March 7th on the Cegranrio portal.
Caixa competition will have tests in May
Banking technician candidates will be assessed through objective and discursive tests (writing for banking technician), in the is May 26thall over the country.
In the objective assessment, 60 questions will be proposed, 25 on Basic Knowledge and 35 on Specific Knowledge.
For traditional banking technicians, the structure will be as follows:
Basic Knowledge (25 questions)
- Portuguese language: 5 questions;
- English Language: 5 questions;
- Financial Mathematics: 5 questions;
- Notions of Probability and Statistics: 5 questions; It is
- Ethical behaviors and compliance: 5 questions.
Specific Knowledge (35 questions)
- Banking Knowledge: 15 questions;
- Knowledge of Information and Communication Technology: 5 questions;
- Digital Knowledge and Behaviors: 5 questions;
- Banking Service: 10 questions.
For the Technology banking technician, the structure will be as follows:
Basic Knowledge (25 questions)
- Portuguese language: 5 questions;
- English Language:5 questions;
- Financial Mathematics: 5 questions;
- Notions of Probability and Statistics: 5 questions; It is
- Ethical behaviors and compliance: 5 questions.
Specific Knowledge (35 questions)
- Information Technology: 30 questions; It is
- Digital Knowledge and Behaviors: 5 questions.
Exams for doctor and engineer
Doctor and engineer candidates, in turn, will be evaluated through objective, discursive and title tests, the latter being classified. The application will also take place in May 26thall over the country.
In the objective assessment, 70 questions will be proposed, 30 of which are Basic Knowledge and 40 Specific.
Basic Knowledge (30 questions)
- Portuguese language: 10 questions;
- English Language: 5 questions;
- Digital knowledge and behaviors:5 questions;
- Ethical behaviors and compliance: 5 questions; It is
- Notions of Probability and Statistics: 5 questions.
Specific Knowledge (40 questions)
Occupational doctor
- General Medical Knowledge: 10 questions;
- Occupational Medicine and Occupational Health: 15 questions;
- Specific Legislation: 10 questions; It is
- Medical Audit and Health Plan: 5 questions.
Occupational safety engineer
- Health and Safety at Work: 40 questions.
The discursive test for higher-level positions will be an essay question, worth ten points.
Approval criteria
In all careers, after the first stage, candidates will be classified by hub/macropole/UF, according to the total points obtained.
Anyone who does not obtain at least half of the points in the set of objective tests and half of the score in the objective test of Basic and Specific Knowledge will be eliminated.
In the discursive you will need to achieve at least half the points.
The final result of the competition is scheduled to be published on August 5th. Summons must occur immediately.
